Install
Open ForgeCast-Setup-0.1.6.exe from your Downloads. If Windows says it protected your PC, choose More info then Run anyway.
ForgeCast opens your browser to sign in. Link your channel once: chat, Super Chats and stats then flow in live.
In OBS, turn on Tools → WebSocket Server Settings. ForgeCast finds it; press Use on any overlay and it's in your scene.
Optional. Compare the file's SHA-256 with the one under All downloads:
certutil -hashfile "ForgeCast-Setup-0.1.6.exe" SHA256
Updates are signed too: the app checks every update against ForgeCast's key before installing it.

Safety
What the app touches on your computer and your channel, and what it never does.
Chat, viewers and likes are read from your channel's public pages. ForgeCast never sees your Google password: you sign in on Google's own page, and it only posts when you press a button or a chat action you made runs.
Your ForgeCast sign-in and passwords for OBS and devices are kept in Windows Credential Manager or the macOS Keychain, never in plain files.
Voice commands and live captions use your computer's own speech recognition. ForgeCast only gets the words, and only while something you turned on is listening; it shows when it is.
Plans are paid on Razorpay's secure checkout. ForgeCast never sees or stores your card or UPI details.
Each download lists its SHA-256 checksum above, and every update is signed: the app checks the signature before it installs anything.
ForgeCast's installers aren't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen or macOS may say they can't check the app. That's about the missing certificate, not about what's inside. Want to be sure? Scan the file yourself on VirusTotal or compare its SHA-256 with the one above.
