Quick start

Your first request in a minute

  1. 1. Sign in and make a key in Account → Developer with the profile:read scope.
  2. 2. Send it as a Bearer token to https://api.forgecast.in/api/v1/…
  3. 3. JSON comes back. Every endpoint, with examples, is in the API docs.

What it can do

Scopes

A key or a connected app gets only the scopes it was given; the streamer's plan limits still apply to everything.

    Read your profile, plan and usage

    Browse the predefined overlays

  • sounds:read

    Search and download sounds from the sound catalog

  • inventory:read

    Read your inventory and overlay documents

  • inventory:write

    Add and remove items, create and edit overlays (plan limits still apply)

    List the pictures in your library

    Upload pictures to your library (plan limits still apply)

    Browse the plugin marketplace, download plugins and see the ones you bought

Requests a minute are counted per account for keys, and per streamer for each connected app. Answers carry X-RateLimit-* headers.

Sell your plugins

You keep 70% of every sale

Set a price on a plugin and, once we've checked it, streamers buy it in the app. Prices show in rupees in India and dollars elsewhere. Your earnings are paid out every month by UPI or bank transfer.

How selling works

The rules, in short

Use only what streamers allowed, for what you told them; keep their data safe and delete it when they disconnect; don't spam chat or pretend to be ForgeCast. Charging for your app or plugin is fine. The full text is in the Developer Terms.
